Major League Baseball Junior Home Run Derby is a FREE program providing boys and girls age 14 and under the opportunity to become the Junior Home Run Derby national champion.

Winners of local and regional contests will ultimately compete in the National Final during Major League Baseball All-Star Week. Sign up here to receive more information on how to host a local competition for your community and see if you can help us find the next Junior Home Run Derby champion!

To register to host a 2018 local competition, please follow the steps below. If you have questions about 2017 competitions or have updates to a competition you already registered, please send those by e-mail to Must be at least 18 years of age to register.

    Complete the form below to register as a host of a local competition. Upon receipt of your online registration, MLB JrHRD Headquarters will place you on a list to receive a kit, which will include a handbook (thoroughly explains how to run the competition), registration forms, awards, promotional posters, etc.

    Receive your Junior Home Run Derby administrative kit, review the materials and make plans for your competition.

    Administrate the competition, tally the scores and award the champions.

    Submit the competition results and registration forms to MLB JrHRD Headquarters.
